The Chinese poem down the side of our Scarlet Script sushi set and the matching sake set
is just one of the many fine details that make this beautiful Japanese dinner set so unique.
The calligraphy is actually inscribed into the ceramic, not just painted onto it, for rich depth,
then painted in high gloss black to shine against the bright red of plates. The sake bottle and
four cups are inscribed on the outside with black interiors. The thoughtful placement of the
poem down one side of each plate means the calligraphy shows even when your plate is
filled with tempting delicacies. Black chopsticks complete the set. We show the set here
