Description
There’s so much going on here, but the overall effect is serene and soothing on the
Kasumi Sushi plate. The base color is a light olive with a band of matte charcoal
black across the center running from one corner to the other, but the effect isn’t harsh
at all with the edges softened by an airbrush effect. One corner has touches of rich
blue glaze that are echoes in several thin strokes of blue that dash across the plate in
the opposite direction going from a light blue to a deep, rich peacock blue. The whole
palette results in a harmonic combination of colors that accent this rectangular
Japanese sushi dish’s softly scalloped edges beautifully. These are the colors of
earth and sky on a rainy day – soothe yourself indoors with some nigiri, temaki or
sashimi served on a set of these beautifully sculpted and glazed dishes on your next
rainy day!
