Mark McClean Sushi Tray just might be a cure for a disease called hoarding. First, the person who admits being a hoarder should decide to become a minimalist. Then all the dishes, plates and bowls must be eliminated from the kitchen. Once the kitchen is free of all tableware, this Mark McClean food tray and perhaps a few forks meet all basic needs. It comes with a bowl and a cup. What else does a person possibly need?
This image of sushi and hors d’oeuvre is born from a mind of the food photographer Bob Noto who takes a unique approach to create his art. He first takes pictures of how the camera sees the food. This usually takes place while food is being prepared by some of the most famous chefs at a restaurant. He then injects his visual creativity into the shots by digitally manipulating them on the computer. Noto interprets dishes in an unusual yet, tastefully interesting way. His complete gallery is found here.

Tupperware seems to know how to advertise its products. Apparently produced by a creative team, this high resolution video is rendered with carefully coordinated scenes and soothing music. The sushi making process is made to look so easy. Of course, no mess is shown. Not even a kernel of rice drops on the counter – the perfect world scenario. Overdramatization? You be the judge.

I’m not a big fan of fruit rollups, but I love the photography. This fun candy sushi was developed by Melissa Beveridge. The recipe is available on Jersy Bites. Kids would love it. Make sure they brush their teeth after eating the sushi. The chewy cany tends to stick on the teeth. It’s a great way to ease them into real sushi.
