Glass Sushi – For Your Eyes Only

mebucainesushi

As part of a freaky campaign for Mebucaine, Saatchi & Saatchi Brussels created this sushi glass, along with a pizza, a slice of cake, and a pineapple. Mebucaine is noted for its misplaced body part campaigns with a collection of freaky photographs.
No fish is killed in the process, so I would call it an environmentally friendly sushi, but it doesn’t make your tummy happy.

Future of Sushi – Sustainable Seafood

Overfishing and trawling pose a serious threat to the environment. With sushi grade seafood becoming endangered species, sustainable fishing is critical to our future. The company developed a highly sophisticated closed-loop aquaculture system which produces no discharge. The fish raised on land or aquaculture addresses the adverse impact on the ocean and reduces the cost involved in transporting seafood from sea to kitchen.

Sushi Launched to Space

Sticky Rice’s Sushi in Space from RVA TV on Vimeo.

Sushi usually ends up in our stomach, but what if it gets lucky and experiences the taste of freedom by venturing the space. Thanks to Sticky Rice that made it happen. The sushi was tied to an HD camera and sent to space – and experience that other sushi or any of us can only imagine. It can happen if you are Richard Branson. It can also happen to those who are considered to be upper one percent of the population.

Fun Sushi Bento

I applaud the creator of this bento for originality and creativity. It’s apparent she had fun making the bento. It’s not only fun to look at the creation, but also looks very tasty. I would love to be the recipient of the artful bento. If someone took the time to make something like this for me, how would I not love it?
